Visual art for an animated film like In Half involves working on the design of characters, settings, objects, and visual effects that bring the story to life on screen. It is important to create a coherent and attractive visual universe that immerses the viewer in the narrative and emotions of the film. To achieve this, different techniques were used such as traditional modeling, 2D, digital infographic, among others, with the aim of capturing my vision in every detail of the animation. Visual art is essential for conveying the feelings, emotions, and messages that are desired to be communicated to the audience in an animated film. Every visual element, from colors and textures to the composition of the images, contributes to the creation of a unique and memorable cinematic world.

Creating this film project has been a truly fulfilling experience for me as a director. From the initial concept development to casting, filming, and finally editing, every step of the process has allowed me to delve deeper into my craft and truly bring my vision to life.

The film is a representation of my own experiences and struggles with fear, and how it can control and dominate one's life if not confronted and overcome. The family dynamic in the film reflects my own upbringing and the impact it had on shaping my fears and insecurities. Through this film, I explore themes of self-discovery, confronting one's fears, and finding the strength to move forward despite adversity. It is a reflection of my own journey towards personal growth and overcoming obstacles, and serves as a creative outlet for expressing my innermost thoughts and emotions.
Overall, this short film is a reflection of who I am as an artist and as a person. It showcases my unique perspective on the world and my passion for using animation as a tool for selfexpression and exploration. I hope that viewers will be able to connect with the emotional depth of the film and perhaps even see a bit of themselves reflected in it.
This project has been a challenging but ultimately rewarding experience that has allowed me to grow as a filmmaker and storyteller. I can't wait to see where this project takes me next in my career, and I am eager to continue creating meaningful and impactful films in the future.

Exploring new graphic lines for character design is an exciting and stimulating task. To achieve interesting and distinctive characters, it is essential to experiment with a variety of styles, techniques, and visual elements in order to create an attractive and memorable design.

One way to delve into new graphic lines is to research and try different styles, such as minimalist, realistic, comic, or anime, among others. Likewise, it is possible to play with different shapes, colors, textures, and patterns to give the character a unique and original appearance.

Furthermore, seeking inspiration in the work of other artists and designers, both contemporary and historical, can provide new ideas and innovative approaches to character design with originality.

Scenographies of the Soul: The Emotional Journey in In Half

The short film "In Half" delves into an articulated visual landscape, where every element of the set has been meticulously crafted to serve as a tangible reflection of the underlying emotions and narrative of the story. This cinematic work tackles intricate themes, where the conception of the settings not only acts as a backdrop but plays a crucial role in establishing the desired atmosphere.

From a technical standpoint, each set has been designed using principles of scenic design that incorporate elements such as color palettes, texturing, and lighting, all strategically chosen to evoke specific emotional responses in the viewer. The choices of props and spatial arrangement align with character development, turning the sets into entities that communicate moods and internal conflicts, almost like characters in their own right.

The art direction and production design have been fundamental in enhancing the visual narrative, ensuring that each scenic element responds to the emotional and thematic needs of the story. Lighting plays a particularly significant role; changes in light intensity and color not only signal narrative transitions but also reinforce the emotional evolution of the characters.

In this analysis, a meticulous attention to detail and a creative approach are revealed in every space utilized in "In Half." Each set thus becomes an active component of the story, contributing significantly to the uniqueness of the work and enriching the viewer's immersive experience in this carefully constructed visual universe.

The Art of Modeling Desserts in In Half

In the magical world of animation, every detail matters. In the short film "In Half," the art of modeling three-dimensional desserts becomes the silent protagonist of a visual narrative that seduces both the eyes and the palate. This short not only invites viewers to immerse themselves in a sweet universe, but also highlights the mastery of design and creativity in crafting delicious edible sculptures.

Using digital modeling techniques, the creators employ tools that simulate dough, cream, and chocolate, achieving a realistic and almost tangible representation. Meticulous attention to detail is vital: the drip of chocolate transforms into a visual poem, and the softness of the meringue invites an imagined bite. In "In Half," each dessert tells a story, and each story is reflected in the way the characters interact with their sweets.

As the protagonists of "In Half" navigate between their world and the desserts they represent, the art of modeling manifests as a testament to love and creativity. This short is not only a celebration of gastronomy but also a reminder that art can take many forms, and in this case, it can even be delicious!
